1961-64 Hillerich & Bradsy Louisville Slugger Tommy Davis Professional Signature Model W166 bat game used by the Los Angeles Dodger 2 time National League Batting Champion. Davis had a very long and productive 18 year career finishing with a .294 lifetime average but his 2 finest seasons were 1962 and 1963 with the Los Angeles Dodgers when he led the National League in Batting. In 1962 he also led the league with 153 runs batted in. "W166" stamped into top of handle. Bat displays moderate use with ball and bat rack marks. Beautiful bat from one of the greatest hitters in Los Angeles Dodger history. Uncracked bat is 35 inches long and weighs 34.4 ounces.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from the Helms Athletic Foundation/LA84 Collection.
