This lot includes a Hillerich & Bradsby model K55 Bill Moose Skowron professional model bat from the 1961 to '63 MLB seasons with evidence of heavy use with a handle crack. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right left and back barrel. Blue bat rack streaks are visible on all sides of the barrel and handle. There is evidence that the bat handle was taped in a spiral pattern to repair and secure a crack. There is a heavy coat of pine tar on the handle. The model number (K55) is tamped into the knob and Skowrons uniform number (14) is written on the knob in black. The cracked bat is 36 inches long and weighs 33.5 ounces.
Includes a Letter of Grading and Authenticity from PSA/DNA (certification # 1B04866).
