This is a classic piece of basketball memorabilia from what was perhaps the most famous basketball team in the world at the time the famed Harlem Globetrotters. Dating to the 1960's this wonderful shooting shirt has the "Original Harlem Globetrotters" on the back with hardly a whisper of any fraying of the delicate stitching on the embroidered letters. The shirt has Size 44 Wilson tagging on the collar and is in simply superb condition. In the 1960's it would likely have been easier to catch the Globetrotters on network television than for say your average NBA squad. They were truly "America's Team" long before the term got broader usage in a different sport.
