Joe DiMaggio shares one sweet spot with Ray Schalk while Dom DiMaggio and Luke Appling share the opposite one. Jimmie Foxx is on a panel with Joe McCarthy and another boasts aces Waite Hoyt Allie Reynolds and Lefty Grove. Fireballers Lefty Gomez and Smokey Joe Wood share a panel and Bob Feller and Spud Chandler face off on another. A veritable who’s-who of names from baseball’s golden era. The Reach Official American League Cronin ball shows toning from age and the blue ball point signatures stand out nicely on the warm colored surface.
