Curt Flood is a former major leaguer who played the majority of his career for the St. Louis Cardinals. A three-time All-Star center fielder and seven-time Gold Glove award winner Flood was also a two-time World Series champion with the Cardinals (1964 and 67). He was also a pivotal figure in helping to establish the free-agent market for veteran ballplayers. This lot includes a 1960s Curt Flood St. Louis Cardinals game-worn batting helmet adorned with plenty of pine tar and showing lots of wear and tear. The helmet still sports its original STL white log on the front as well as its padding on the inside. Floods uniform No. 21 as well as his last name is spelled in black marker on the inside of the inside.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received.
