Perfect for the NFL or Green Bay Packers historian, a beautifully framed piece that features an oversized signed business check dated 8-29-59 from a firm called Green Bay Packers, Inc. Approving the check are two team executives.
One signature is from Vincent Lombardi-General Manager and oh, by the way, he did some coaching for the organization, too. The other approver is Team President Dominic Olejniczak, who led the search committee in 1958 that hired Lombardi.
Adding to the coolness of this piece is that the check is made out to Dick Nolan, who we can only assume is the former NFL player and future NFL Head Coach. In 1959 Nolan was a player for the New York Giants.
Lombardi passed away in 1970 and Olejniczak in 1989.
