Joe Dugan spent 14 years of his life playing in the MLB, spanning from 1917 through 1931, playing for a handful of teams, most notably the Yankees and Athletics in his early years.

This lot presents a 1959 Boston Red Sox road uniform, worn on Old Timers' Day. Dugan played for the Red Sox in two separate stints, beginning in 1922 and once again in 1929. 

An apparent photomatch has been made to a photograph with Dugan alongside Red Sox alum and teammate,s including Ted Williams. The photograph is included with the uniform and pants.

Proper tagging exists throughout both the jersey and pants with "59" tagging and proper sizing in the sewing. 

This lot has been derived directly from the Joe Dugan family and is accompanied by a letter of provenance from the family.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received.
