1959 Pittsburgh Pirates home vest style flannel jersey game worn and signed by catcher Hank Foiles. Foiles has signed on the front in beautiful 8-9/10 dark blue felt tip pen "Hank Foiles NLAS - 1957". Foiles spent most of his 11 year career toiling as a back-up catcher playing with 7 different teams. With Pittsburgh in 1958 and 1959 he got into 157 games hitting 11 HR with 34 RBI while batting .210. "PIRATES" in black with gold trim sewn across the chest. Foiles number "20" in the same black with gold trim sewn on the back. "Rawlings "Hall of Fame" Flannel" and "48" tags sewn in front tail with "20 59" sewn below in black thread. Washing instructions and "SET 1 1959" tags sewn on inside of front tail. 1958 pants have "Rawlings "Hall of Fame" Flannel" "36" washing instructions and "SET 1 1958" tags sewn in back of waistband. Pair of black with 3 gold stripe stirrups also included. Both jersey and pants are totally original and exhibit moderate game use.
