From Jackie Robinson's personal collection comes a sterling silver 8-inch in diameter bowl that was presented to the great star several years after his abrupt retirement following the 1956 season. The presentation bowl is in excellent condition displaying only the tarnishing and fingerprints that result from an artifact being left to its own devices. The bottom of the bowl has "Sterling by Poole" and "Paul Revere Reproduction" engravings; the inscription on the side says: Presented by the New England Grocer's Association Inc. to Jackie Robinson Jan. 22 1959."
Comes with a Letter of Authenticity attesting to its inclusion in the Robinson family archives and is signed with a black marker 9/10 autograph by Rachel Robinson.
