The 1958 MLB All-Star Game the 25th running of the Mid-Summer Classic was held on July 8th at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore Maryland the home of the American Leagues Orioles. In yet another tight one-run battle the American League squad bested their National League counterparts 4-3. The winning pitcher for the A.L. was Early Wynn. This official American League (Harridge) baseball was signed by 28 members of the victorious A.L. squad in various shades of blue ink. Other Hall of Fame signatures on the baseball include A.L. Manager Casey Stengel Nelson Nellie Fox Ed Whitey Ford Al Kaline and Mickey Mantle. Other notable autographs on the ball belong to Elston Howard Tony Kubek Bob Turley Bill Moose Skowron and Early Wynn. Majority of signatures are solid and rate 8-9/10.
Across the sweet spot rests the autograph of Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Ted Williams which has been deemed clubhouse signed by PSA.
