The 1957 season marked the fifth for the franchise in Milwaukee and 87th season overall. The Braves won the National League pennant by eight games over the second place St. Louis Cardinals to advance to the World Series. In the Series against the New York Yankees, the Braves emerged victorious in a decisive seven games. This was the lone World Series title for the team while it was based in Milwaukee.The offered ring design features a baseball field on the top face with ruby accents at base positions and a larger diamond representing the pitchers' mound. "Milwaukee World Champions" is lettered around the beveled edge. Left shank has "Bruton" player name atop the Braves team logo and his "OF" outfield position is noted below. Right has additional logo and the year, "1957." Resized to 8.75 with interior markings removed. Mild general wear throughout with some features worn down. Weighs 27 grams. Bruton played eight seasons with the Braves and was member of both their 1957 World Series Champion and 1958 National League Pennant winning teams.
