ONL(Giles) baseball signed by 23 members of the 1955 Word Champion Brooklyn Dodgers the only team in franchise history to win the World Series. Players are: Jackie Robinson(HOF) Roy Campanella(HOF) Duke Snider(HOF) Walt Alston(HOF)(SS) Don Drysdale(HOF) Sandy Koufax(HOF) Gil Hodges Jim Gilliam Don Newcombe Charley Neal Randy Jackson Roger Craig Ed Roebuck Don Zimmer Clem Labine Carl Erskine Sandy Amoros Chuck Templeton Jim Hughes Dick Williams(HOF) Don Elston Bob Darnell and Charles Thompson. Signatures range from about 7 to 9/10. Key signatures are: Robinson(9/10) Campanella(7/10) Hodges(8/10) Snider(8/10) Alston(7-8/10) Koufax(7-8/10 and Drysdale(7/10). Ball was probably signed during Spring training before the 1955 season began as Drysdale Williams Elston and Darnell were in the Dodgers organization for 1955 but did not play during the 1955 season. Charles "Tim" Thompson played with the Athletics in 1956 while Jim Hughes was with the Cubs for the 1956 season. Ball itself does have some light staining that does not damage the signature quality.
