In 1954 a war was being waged between Topps and Bowman. Bowman sued Topps for contract infringement upon Topps using some of their players that they had exclusive agreements with. Thus Mickey Mantle was left out of this most important Topps issue however the series is still regarded as one of the most prolific of its era. Offered in this lot is a near complete (245/250) 1954 Topps Baseball card set. Most all of the 245 cards are in VG-EX to EX-MT condition with a few above and below that range.
