Great looking 5 cent wax pack display box for the 1954 Topps series featuring a large image of Red Sox Hall of Fame slugger Ted Williams on the top. Williams would be returning for his first full season with Boston since 1951 after missing most of 1952 and 1953 serving in the Korean War. Box has toned somewhat but retains bright and vivid coloration. Box looks to be very structurally sound and has only one small area of paper loss at the front bottom upper left corner. Some wear to the green edges and corners. Box appears to have been sealed along the front flap to help retain the desired form and structure. Beautiful 60 year old Topps wax pack display box!
