Beautiful high grade looking 1954 Red Heart Baseball complete set purchased directly from Wholesale Cards Co. back in the 1960's. Every card appears to have razor sharp corners with a few having some dings probably from the original shipping/packaging. We sent the top 9 cards to PSA for grading. The came back: Richie Ashburn(HOF) EX-MT PSA 6 Ralph Kiner(HOF) EX-MT PSA 6 Bob Lemon(HOF) EX-MT+ PSA 6.5 Mickey Mantle(HOF) EX-MT PSA 6 Billy Martin NM PSA 7 Stan Musial(HOF) NM PSA 7 Red Schoendienst(HOF) NM-MT PSA 8 Duke Snider(HOF) EX-MT PSA 6 and Warren Spahn(HOF) EX-MT PSA 6. In all honesty we were very disappointed with the grading of most as they display much better. We believe there should be some very good grading possibilities with many of the remaining ungraded cards. Check out the images.
SMR value for the 9 graded cards alone is over $1500.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received.
