Nice example of a 1954 Bowman #89 Willie Mays issue in mid-grade form. Slightly off-center within its white border, the card has minor rounding of the corners and a smooth surface for strong eye appeal. The reverse is clean and wax stain free. PSA has graded it EX 5 mostly due to its centering and light toning to both corners on the right side. This was Mays' third Bowman issue and 1954 marked the second of three times that he had a Bowman and Topps card in the same year. His '54 Bowman is rarer with ~3,600 graded by PSA as opposed to ~5,200 in the pop report of his '54 Topps #90.
