PSA GD 2 full unused ticket from Game 6 of the 1953 World Series between the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers at Yankee Stadium. In a rematch from the prior year, the Yanks continued to torment their cross-town rivals by taking the series in six games for their fifth straight World Championship, a record that has not and most likely will never be broken. In Game 6, 'Dem Bums rallied down 3-1 in the 9th inning with a 2-run homer by Carl Furillo to tie it. But in the bottom of the ninth, with a runner on second, Billy Martin drilled a Clem Labine sinker up the middle for a walk-off, series-winning RBI single. It was the Yankees 14th title overall. The ticket has solid colors and print, but has a significant vertical crease on the left side along with some left corners and edge wear. The back is fairly clean. Pop 5 with 4 graded higher.
