Batting lead-off in Topps' artistic 1953 issue is Brooklyn Dodgers legend Jackie Robinson. This fine example has a poignant portrait image of baseball's most courageous icon, with rounded corners and a barely visible wrinkle-crease running down his shadowed face. Centering is not bad and the borders remain creamy white. Colors are vibrant and printing (front and back) remains crisp and bold. The most noticeable damage is to the lower left corner. All things considered, a very nice looking PSA FR 1.5.
