Large 10" by 14" 1953 menu from Toots Shor's restaurant in New York signed on the front in near perfect looking 9/10 black ink by famed sportswriters Grantland Rice and Rube Samuelson. On the back of the menu is a black & white photo featuring Shor along with Hall of Famers Jimmy Foxx Mel Ott Mickey Cochrane Ed Walsh Rogers Hornsby Pie Traynor Tris Speaker Fred Clarke Cy Young George Sisler Kid Nichols Ty Cobb Charley Gehringer along with 19th Century star Arlie Latham. Also included is an original photo of this group probably from the 1940's on which Shor has written the names of each with the added inscription "This is one team I could manage and win with Toots Shor" in perfect looking 9-10/10 black ink.Neat pair!
