Offered here is a 1953 Bill Pierce 14K gold Look Magazine “All-Star Team†presentational wristwatch along with the October 6th, 1953 edition of Look Magazine. The Cyma brand wristwatch was given to players on “Look’s All America Baseball Team†selected by the “Baseball Broadcasters and Telecasters of Americaâ€Â. The October 6th, 1953 edition of Look Magazine features a four-page spread about the league at the time and how their all-star team was carefully selected. The wristwatch has been engraved on the back, “Billy Pierce, 1953 Look All Star Team†and “14KT. Gold Apex.†The watch shows light wear from general usage and has been replaced with a leather band. The magazine and wristwatch go hand in hand as the players mentioned in the article received one of these special watches. This lot is accompanied by a letter of provenance from the Pierce Family.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received.
