This is a premium example of Hall of Famer Eddie Mathews Rookie Card and famed bookend in the revered 1952 Topps set. The #407 Mathews card is seldom seen in anything close to high grade and presents one of the greatest challenges for anyone putting together a quality 1952 Topps set. This remarkably sharp example of one of the most important cards in the 1952 Topps set features outstanding color and a pack fresh overall appearance that can be attributed to almost 50 years of safe storage. Left to right centering of about 30/70 notwithstanding this gem possesses every characteristic of a NM-MT card. Graded NM 84 by SGC.
