Intriguing 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle Rookie card that rates and displays higher technically than the given grade in most aspects but has one main distraction. All corners appear to be EX or better condition. Well centered at about 50/50 top to bottom and 55/45 side to side. The back is clean. The main problem is a water stain which covers about 60% or more of the front. Outstanding color and picture quality above the stain line which rises up on the sides and dives into a "V" shape at his chin. Borders on front not affected by the staining are white. If you can get past the staining it is an outstanding looking VG PSA 3.
