Mickey Mantle's 1952 Topps card is one of the true icons of our hobby and is instantly recognized, even by non-collectors. Every enthusiast covets a Topps "rookie" card of Mickey Mantle, and no serious baseball card collection can be considered complete without one. Graded VG 3 by PSA, this offered example displays corner rounding and surface wear typical of an aged card with moderate handling. The print quality and color brightness are remarkable, and it is fairly well-centered both directions to give it striking eye appeal. Super clean front and back, we can only assume that the two rougher left corners and two isolated scratch marks on the front are the key catalysts for not attaining mid-grade status.
