Very desirable lot of 4 large Star-Cal Type 1 decals from the beautiful 1952 Meyercord Company of Chicago regional issue. They are:
#70-C Yogi Berra. Outstanding color and image. Clean. Only flaw at lower left where there are 2 1/2" by 1/8" strips of paper loss. Decal has been opened at the top 2 corners so decal can be removed. Moderate color loss along the edges at the corners and an area of surface at lower right corner.
70-F Phil Rizzuto. Outstanding color and image. Clean. Decal appears NM but when your hold at an angle some light creases can be seen across the top as well as small rough patch in surface at upper right side. Unopened decal has light to moderate wear along edges and corners. Still displays well.
77-B Ralph Kiner. Superior color and picture. Clean. Visible portion of decal appears NM or better but a small ding can be seen at the right edge. Unopened decal has light to moderate wear along edges and corners. Very nice looking.
79-A Gil Hodges. Strong color and image. Clean aside from some traces of red color residue on front. Unopened decal has light to moderate wear along edges and corners. Pair of small tears at upper left inside edge. Still decent eye appeal.
