The legendary Hall of Famer signed in his elegant script in blue ballpoint in a handsome typewritten letter on Cincinnati Reds official team stationery. The letter is to fellow Hall of Famer Max Carey thanking him for a telegram from several days earlier and noting that Hornsby did not plan any staff changes at the moment. The letter is in Ex-Mt condition and is problem free revealing only the barely visible creases that come from having been folded in thirds at some point.
