PR PSA 1 Full Unused Ticket from the deciding Game 6 of the 1951 World Series between the New York Yankees and New York Giants. The Yankees would defeat the Giants 4 games to 2 behind Hank Bauer's 3 run triple in the bottom of the 6 but more importantly the 1951 World Series would be Mickey Mantle's first and Joe DiMaggio's last. Unfortunately in the 5th inning of Game 2 Willie Mays would hit a fly ball deep to right center that both DiMaggio and Mantle went for. DiMaggio called off Mantle who took a wrong step and injured his knee while stepping on a drain cover effectively ending his season. Unfortunately the leg injury was destined to bother Mickey the rest of his career. Ticket features bright color with excellent printing. Ticket has quite a lot of printing including one heavy vertical crease at left of center none of which disrupts the overall eye appeal of the fairly clean looking ticket.
