Superb example of the most coveted New York Yankees team signed baseball from the era. The light cream colored Harridge AL ball is signed by (25) members of the 1951 World Champion Yankees. Players are: DiMaggio(HOF)(SS) Mantle(HOF) Martin McDougald(ROY) Rizzuto(HOF) Berra(HOF)(MVP) Reynolds Rashi Coleman Mize(HOF) Bauer Sain Ostrowski Brown Silvera Coleman Morgan Brideweser Overmire Kuzava Hogue Shea Schallock Woodling Collins and Lopat. Sigs range from 7-10 out of 10 averaging 8/10. The ball itself is free from significant soiling or handling wear and presents at the NM level or better. A small notation near the manufacturer's stamping has been written over in ink. The 1951 season would be the last for DiMaggio who ended the year with another World Championship and passed the torch to the young outfielder from Oklahoma Mickey Mantle. It was the only season in which the two played together for the Yankees. Very fine example of this tough Yankees championship team ball with no clubhouse signatures. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA.
