Original 1951 8" by 10" black and white photo of Jim Thorpe sitting behind the Governor of West Virginia's desk and signed by him on the back in perfect looking 9-10/10 vintage blue ink "Property of Jim Thorpe". Photo has creasing at upper left and lower right corner. Pair of 3" tears about 1" apart at upper left corner. Photo stamped on back "Dec 15 5:36 PM '51". "2 x 4 Governor's Chair Sat. Nite" in pencil on back. Grease pencil printing at bottom front in another hand looks to read "Jim Thorpe - with Gov. Patterson Guest of Honor of the State of West Virginia".
