Nice looking 1951 inaugural NBA All-Star Game program is loaded with player photos and brief biographies articles and team information. Game was played March 2 1951 at Boston Garden. The only period ad is for Joe Lapchick shoes. The East All-Stars led by Hall of Famers Dolph Schayes Paul Arizin Andy Philip Joe Fulks Bob Cousy Dick McGuire and Ed Macauley defeated the West All-Stars with Hall of Famers George Mikan Jim Pollard Vern Mikkelsen Bob Davies and Fred Schaus 111-94. Program has been very neatly scored in pencil and is otherwise clean throughout. Spine is tight. Covers clean with one vertical crease down the center. Great piece of early NBA Basketball history!
