Bowman's landmark 1951 baseball set was its largest ever featuring a total of 324 players. Most of the 324 cards were vertical portraits recreated as color artwork from photographs and 39 cards used a horizontal (landscape) orientation.The 1951 Bowman baseball set is anchored by two of the most famous Hall of Famer RC’s of all time Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays.
