The Mick played for the Yankees from 1951 to 1968, hitting 536 home runs, wining a Triple Crown in 1956, 3 MVPs and 7 World Championships before being inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974. One of card collecting's greatest classics, Mantle's Bowman rookie card is the key to the 1951 Bowman set, and one of the most popular of all postwar baseball cards. This 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle RC #253 has been graded a VG+ 3.5 by PSA. This collector grade example offers a lot of eye appeal for the grade. Centering is about 60/40 left to right and about 70/30 top to bottom. Overall clean and iconic image of Mantle.
