Attractive boxed set of the 1951 Berk Ross "Hit Parade of Champions" set which features 40 baseball players among the 36 two card uncut panels. Nice early 50's set contains Hall of Famers Bob Lemon Phil Rizzuto Johnny Mize Richie Ashburn Stan Musial Warren Spahn Yogi Berra Joe DiMaggio Ralph Kiner Robin Roberts and Whitey Ford. Boxes are in good condition with Series 3 and 4 being very white all over. Series 1 and 2 both have has some very light toning. Series 1 has a small 1/2" scrap at the lower back right edge. Series 2 has a small 1/2" tear at the right flap fold on the back. Appealing complete set overall.
