Yogi Berra spent 18 years with the Yankees in which he was named AL MVP three times, played on 13 World Championship teams and was voted to the American League All-Star squad 18 times. While Berra carved out his place as one of baseball’s most decorated players, he also earned legendary status as one the most unique and beloved personalities is the games history.
Dating from the prime years of Yogi’s prolific career, this 1951-57 Hillerich & Bradsby professional model R43 bat is uncracked and shows evidence of light use. Ball marks are visible along the right and left barrel and all manufacturer’s markings are deep and well defined. Berra has autographed the barrel in black felt tip marker. In terms of usage era and overall aesthetic quality this is an extremely attractive Yogi gamer. LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (GU7) (CERT: E36726).
