Featured here is an extraordinary complete set of the vintage 1951-52 Parkhurst the inaugural hockey release and the pinnacle by which all hockey issues are measured. Fresh to the hobby after more than two decades of its final completion this '51 Parkhurst set of all (105) cards comes mostly in VG to EX condition overall with a few faring better or worse. The majority of the cards in this set are well-centered and have retained bold front images with mostly clean backs. There is moderate general corner and edge wear and some expected toning on average throughout. The patented small format and artistic design gives this set a truly classic feel and its crop of prominent rookie and star card from the era’s biggest names make it one of the hobby's most prominent sets. It should be noted that the set was presented in encapsulated holders that was done by a former card dealer in Canada called A.J. Cards.
