Very nice collection of 17 total New York / San Francisco Giants World Series (including phantoms) and All-Star Game press pins ranging from 1951 to 2014. Each comes with its original case and has its original needle/threaded post or brooch in working condition. The foam padding in some of the older cases has started to deteriorate.
The three earliest included from the franchise's N.Y. era at the Polo Grounds are: 1951 World Series (NM); 1952 World Series Phantom (EX); and 1954 World Series (EX). The '52 Phantom has blue remnants from its case's foam padding that can be cleaned off. Each is manufactured by Dieges & Clust.
The other 13 World Series pins are: 1962 (NM); 1965 Phantom (NM); 1971 Phantom (Mint); 1978 Phantom (EX-MT); two 1989 (Mint NM-MT); 2002 (Mint); 2010 (Mint); 2012 (Mint); and 2014 (NM-MT). Each of these are manufactured by Balfour.
The four All-Star Game pins are the rather scarce 1961 (NM-MT Balfour) two 1984 (both Mint Pinette) and 2007 (Mint Aminco).
