Overcoming potentially career-ending shoulder injuries in the early 1950s to develop into one of the most feared sluggers of his era Roy Sievers became just the 18th player to hit 300 home runs. With a powerful and graceful swing that Casey Stengel called one of the sweetest Sievers known as Mr. Clutch for his late-inning heroics hit almost a quarter of his home runs in the eighth inning or later including nine walk-off blasts. The former Rookie of The Year (1949) hit ten grand slams and ten pinch-hit home runs in his prolific 17-year career.

Presented here is a beautiful 1958-60 Roy Sievers Adirondack game used bat. Possessing attractive white manufacturers centerbrand and barrel stampings the 35 inch white ash club shows excellent use with numerous ball marks and grain separation from contact on the back barrel. Red white and green rack marks are visible and the bat bears a large crack. Model number 282C is stamped on the knob and Sievers uniform number 2 which he wore from 1954-59 with the Senators is written in black marker. All told this is a fine gamer from this largely underappreciated slugger.
