Pair of full unused tickets to Games 1 and 2 of the 1950 World Series between the defending Champion New York Yankees and the surprise National League Champion Philadelphia Phillies "Whiz Kids" played October 4th & 5th at Shibe park in Philadelphia. The Yankees won Game 1 on a Vic Raschi 1-0 two hit shutout. Game 2 saw another close contest as Allie Reynolds defeated Robin Roberts in a 10 inning pitcher's duel 2-1. The Yankees went on to sweep the Phillies in four straight close contests to win the World Series. Very clean tickets one for Lower Grandstand and the other for Lower Stand Box. Both ticket look to be about EX condition.
