Very evenly matched near basic set of the 1950 Callahan Hall of Fame Baseball set with almost all cards in the EX-MT to NM category. Fronts are drawings of the player with an extensive biography on the back. The Callahan sets were sold right at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in boxed sets from 1950 through 1956. With each new induction ceremony new cards were added. As players passed away biographies on the backs were changed. 5 Cards have been professionally graded: NM PSA 7 Plank. EX-MT PSA 6 Dickey Simmons Terry. NM SGC 84 E. Collins.
Missing only Baker Chandler DiMaggio Hartnett Lyons Schalk and Vance for completion.
