Offered here is a 1949 New York Yankees World Championship money clip awarded to staff members after defeating the Brooklyn Dodgers in five games. This very scarce Yankees money clip is made up of 10K yellow gold with a genuine diamond ruby and sapphire adorning the famous Yankees logo. Made by Balfour the clip weighs 17 grams and is approximately 2 7/8" long and 1 1/8" in diameter at the Yankees medallion. The back is stamped "10K" and "LGB" to signify the designer Lloyd Garfield Balfour. A great piece that would fit in nicely with any Yankees collection. Includes LOA from family of Newark Bears (Yankees affiliate) executive.
