A magical piece of Hollywood Golden Age memorabilia, this 1949 MGM playing card — the Two of Hearts — features a gorgeous black-and-white photograph of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dancing together, and has been signed by both legendary performers. Astaire's signature appears in bold red ink across the top portion of the card, while Rogers' autograph appears below in blue ballpoint — a wonderful contrast that visually separates the two icons while uniting them on a single surface.

 

The card, copyrighted 1949 by MGM, is one from a set produced by the studio during the height of its influence, featuring portraits from its constellation of stars. Astaire and Rogers were the defining dance duo of American cinema, having starred together in ten films between 1933 and 1949, and their dual signatures on a period MGM card represent an extraordinary meeting of Hollywood royalty.

 

The item is encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (Certificate No. 85770479), with the label confirming both signatures as authentic. A truly special piece for collectors of Hollywood memorabilia, dance history, or dual-signed artifacts from the Golden Age of cinema.
