This lot of Jackie Robinson cover shot magazines and publications from 1949 to '52 includes four issues of SPORT magazine: August 1949 (GD/VG) with Jackie swinging; October 1951 (EX-MT) with Jackie sliding; October 1952 (EX-MT) with Jackie leaping; and November 1952 (VG-EX) Jackie alongside Allie Reynolds and two football players. Two issues of Quick News Weekly: April 17 1950 (EX) Jackie and Joe DiMaggio; and October 6 1952 (EX-MT) Jackie solo. Additionally there is a Nov. 16 1972 issue of JET with Jackie crouched on cover among the group.

Also included in this lot are four loose pages of 1949 Dodgers-Yankees souvenir scorecards (VG to EX) plus a full two-page still stapled together "1949 World Series Yanks vs Dodgers" scorecard (EX-MT) signed by Brooklyn's Don Newcombe under his image in 9/10 blue ink. The recently deceased former Dodgers ace was the NL Rookie of the Year in '49 and won both the Cy Young and MVP in 1956 becoming the first pitcher ever to claim all three honors.
