1948 St. Paul Saints 10K Gold American Association Championship ring awarded to hard hitting left fielder Eric Tipton. Tipton led St. Paul a Brooklyn Dodger top farm team with 28 Home Runs and 128 RBI. He also scored 111 Runs and batted .313 with a .434 OBP and .570 SLG Pct. in 148 Games with the Saints. Earlier from 1939 through 1945 Tipton played 7 years with the Philadelphia Athletics and Cincinnati Reds. 8 point real diamond set into a gold baseball set into a Dodger blue stone on top. "ST. PAUL AMERICAN ASSN PLAYOFF CHAMPIONS" surrounds the top. Both sides have the same glove infield crossed bats and ball design with the year "1948". Inside stamped "MURCHISON 10K". Ring size 11. Weight 20 grams.
