Extremely scarce 1948 Leaf #51 Willie Pep boxing card graded VG 3 by PSA with a perfect 10 autograph grade. The card remains in great shape, with nice symmetry and vibrant coloring. The autograph spans across the card in bold blue permanent ink for nice eye appeal. Only one example has been given a higher grade in PSA's Population Report, making for a sought-after example.
Willie Pep was an impressive boxer who held the Featherweight championship twice between the years of 1942 and 1950. He fought an astronomical 241 total bouts during his 26-year boxing career with 229 total wins with 65 knockouts.
