1947 World Series program between longtime inter city rivals the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers. 1947 marked the first of 6 times the teams would meet over the next 10 years. The Yankees would take the Series 4 games to 3 with clutch performances by pitcher Joe Page and outfielder Tommy Henrich providing the margin of victory in Game 7. New York version program loaded with photos articles and period ads. Wear and paper loss along the spine with some small creasing. Creases at both upper and lower right corners.
