Jake LaMotta the now 95-year-old subject of the 1980 Oscar-winning motion picture entitled "Raging Bull" had an impressive boxing career the included 83 wins (30 by knockout) 19 losses and four draws. A bruiser in every sense of the word LaMotta battled against fellow middleweight Sugar Ray Robinson six times and finally won the Middleweight Championship of the World in 1949. This lot includes an earlier awarded trophy to LaMotta that stands 12 inches tall and includes a six-inch bronzed boxing figure on the top. On the face of its hollowed-out black plastic base is an engraved plaque that reads: "Jake LaMotta '1947' Middleweight Champion."
