1947 New York Yankees World Series press pin features the iconic New York Yankee hat logo above a script "Yankees" on top of a white enamel baseball at he center. Small gold "1947" sits above. Red White and blue stripes on both sides with "WORLD SERIES" in gold on the white. Back is very clean with original screw down clasp. Back stamped "DIEGES & CLUST NEW YORK". 1947 saw the Yankees defeat the rival Brooklyn Dodgers 4 games to 3. 1947 marked Jackie Robinson's World Series debut. Pin about 2" in length. Beautiful condition press pin.
1953 New York Yankees World Series press pin features a large blue enamel "V" with gold "WORLD SERIES" at the top and gold "1953 PRESS" at the bottom. The iconic New York Yankees top hat logo sits at the center in red white and blue enamel with gold script "Yankees on top". 1953 saw the Yankees defeat their cross town rival Brooklyn Dodgers once again for their record 5th consecutive World Championship. Small amount of blue enamel loss at the upper left corner to the side of the "W". Back is clean with original screw down clasp. Despite flaw pin still displays nicely.
