Beautiful 10K gold 1946 American League All-Star Game tie clip has a real diamond on a ball at center that reads "Boston 1946". Surrounding the ball in gold lettering on blue enamel is "All-Star Game American League". Tie clip is made to look like a baseball bat. Printed on back are "Campus 10K" and "Earl Hilligan". Hilligan was an Associated Press sportswriter and the American League press bureau manager. Ted Williams was a one man gang in the 1946 All-Star Game with 4 hits including 2 home runs and 5 RBIs in leading the American League to a 12-0 route of the National League.
