Great looking condition program for the 1943 Baseball All-Star Game played at the Shibe Park in Philadelphia on July 13th 1943. This would be the first night All-Star game in the series history. Bobby Doerr hit a 3 run home run to lead the American League to a 5-3 victory. Johnny Vander Meer struck out 6 American Leaguers in his 2 2/3 innings of work. Program is loaded with photos articles numerous period adds including many patriotic ones concerning the on going war. Program has not been scored and looks to be in EX-MT or better condition.
