Wilson baseball signed by 20 members of the 1942 Pacific Coast Southern All-Stars featuring players from Los Angels San Diego Hollywood and San Francisco. Players are:
Los Angeles Angels (10) - Johnny Moore Bill Schuster Barney Olsen Paul Gehrman Roy Hughes Eddie Mayo Ray Prim Eddie Waitkus Al Todd Bill Sweeney(SS).
San Diego Padres (3) - Jack Calvey Cedric Durst Mike Mazzera.
San Francisco Seals (4) - Ralph Hodgin Kermit Lewis Bruce Ogrodowski(SS) Sam Gibson?.
Hollywood Stars (3) - Joe Hoover Charlie Root Bill Brenzel.
Another hand has written "Southern All-Stars 1942" on the ball at one sweet spot and "North to South" on the panel above. Ball was shellacked at one time and has darkened over the years. All the blue/black? ink signatures remain very readable in the 7-8 overall range.
