Here then is yet another intriguing vintage wool jersey that instantly conjures up visions of old-time hockey a cream colored sweater featuring orange and black stripes in an attractive design that is repeated on the upper and lower half of the body and at the middle of the sleeves. The front of the sweater has "Perth" sewn on the front in black felt letters and a No. "6" sewn on the back also in felt. A tag sewn in the neck reads "Albion Knitting Co. Ltd. Peterboro Ont." Jersey shows nice use and is in excellent condition. There are several team repairs most prominently to the right sleeve and one on the back and a bit of minor staining appears in spots on what is a sweater in amazing condition.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
